Professor Robert Gallagher Executive Chairman 2011 World Green Energy Symposium Council

Professor Robert J. Gallagher serves as the Executive Chairman of the World Green Energy Symposium (WGES) Council. Professor Gallagher is responsible for globally promoting the WGES as a platform of education and information exchange on research, technology, policy, innovations, and economic impact of existing and future green energy & alternatives. As a respected leader and educator, Professor Gallagher works in tandem with universities worldwide, leading experts from education, government, business and environment in the development of master lectures and speakers for the Symposium.  Prior to serving as Executive Chairman of the WGES, Professor Gallagher served as Academic Advisor and University Supervisor of Students at Marywood University.  His passion for the mission of the WGES, combined with his experience as a successful business entrepreneur, dedicated educator and advocate for the use of sustainable energy as an economic  force have earned him the respect of his colleagues as well as the success of the World Green Energy Symposium.  Professor Gallagher earned his postgraduate degrees from Adelphi University in Education and Health and a Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College. In addition, he has received numerous recognitions and holds several certifications.   

About the World Green Energy Symposium (WGES) 

The WGES take place annually in theUnited States of America.  With the understanding that implementation of new and “green” energy alternatives is the responsibility of ALL mankind, the World Green Energy Symposium brings together government agencies and their leaders, large, medium, and small businesses, institutions of higher education, students, venture capitalists, consumers and the world media in a platform of education and information exchange. The Symposium showcases new, alternative, sustainable and innovative product development and green energy opportunities for G2G, G2B, B2B, educators and the public from all across the nation and the globe.    

Working in collaboration with universities, government agencies, businesses, environmental organizations, chambers of commerce, economic development and other nonprofit organizations, the WGES provides the platform for the education, information exchange and implementation of sustainability efforts through master lectures, case studies, and interaction.
